Bandh inconvenience

Sir,
It is a matter to be looked into by the present Govt that when there are frequent strikes, bandhs, public and political protests in the main cities of both Jammu/Kashmir divisions resulting in total collapse of transport system making the public helpless to attend their daily works. Apart from sufferings of common man, the Govt employees as well as student community gets badly effected as they can’t move out early morning to attend their offices /institutions but are forced to stay at home on unwanted/forced casual leaves. In case of students they are forced to miss their important classes/ programmes charted in advance.
The situation becomes very serious if they reach or dropped in their offices in the early morning at their designated stations /offices by their near and dears and after the close of their offices in absence of any transport on the road, it becomes a lot of problem for both employees and students to reach their residences resulting tension for the guardians/parents for their near and dears at home. It is at afternoon the said protests/strikes are seen in full swing causing damage to of vehicles and sometimes injuries in many cases. In case of many employees travelling to distant stations, they have either clubbed their personal transports or hired private transport for reaching their offices but during the said strikes/protests they are helpless to move out on roads having risk of being attacked by the protestors causing damage to their vehicles and also causing injuries if they are trapped in the protesting areas .
Keeping in view the above stated situation, it necessitates that the present govt shows a sort of social responsibility, belongingness and humanitarian approach for the problem being faced by the employees and student community. The Government as a remedial measure announce special leave for both employees and students to avoid inconvenience due to said frequent strikes and protests.
