Bani people for renovation of passenger shed

KATHUA, Nov 26: The inhabitants of Bani have expressed grave concern over the bad condition of passenger shed in the town and alleged that the authorities despite being requested to renovate and maintain the same have failed to act till date.
Mudasar Ali a social activist of the area said that the concerned Department has failed to maintain the shed where the passengers visiting different areas from Bani used to wait for the buses and matadors.
He said from here passenger vehicles run on the routes of
Sarthal, Bhaderwah, Basohli, Billawar, Kathua, Samba and Jammu carrying passengers, patients as well as tourists but they face problems while waiting for buses in the passenger shed which is in a dilapidated condition.
Ali made an appeal to DC Kathua and concerned Department to look into the problem and issue directives for renovation of the shed at an earliest.
