While addressing the striking officers, Suresh Wali lambasted the IBA & the Finance
Ministry for taking the officers’ community working in the Banking Sector, specifically the PSU Banks, for-granted. He said that all financial schemes of the Govt of India are being launched through the Public Sector Banks only but when it came to demanding legitimate and legal rights of the bank employees, the Government conveniently ignores their demands.
He stressed that the Bank officers were determined to get a fair and honorable wage revision for all officers from Scale-I to VII at the every cost and scale of struggle. He also explained in detail how IBA was bypassing the demands raised in the charter of demands.
