DODA, Aug 13: People of Banshala village have been forced to carry patients on makeshift stretcher to hospital due to poor road connectivity.
A patient was shifted today to hospital by the people of village Banshala on makeshift stretcher due to poor road connectivity.

Locals alleged that several times, the authorities were informed to construct road connecting village Banshala to district headquarters, but our repeated pleas fall on deaf ear.
While shifting the patient to the hospital, the locals demanded construction of road.
“How many times we shift our near ones to hospital on makeshift stretcher”, the locals questioned?.
In absence of road, the patient can’t be shifted to hospital in ambulance and the only way is to shift on makeshift stretcher, the locals added.
The locals have appealed to the administration to construct the road for the convenience of the people.
District official says, “Spoke to Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana authorities. They told me no proposal has been approved yet but assured me to look into it”.
