Bansi, Kuldeep guide RCC to Kabir Memorial T20 final

JAMMU, Nov 24: Splendid performances by Bansi Lal and Kuldeep Kumar helped Rainawari Cricket Club to qualify for the finals of the ongoing Shaheed Kabir Memorial T20 Cricket Tournament at Sports Stadium, Udhampur.
Batting first, DTTCA Punjab scored 153 runs in the stipulated 20 overs. Manawal was top scorer with 28 runs, while Raj Kumar and Karan contributed 24 runs each to the total. For RCC, Kuldeep Kumar was pick of the bowlers, who claimed 3 wickets, while Bansi Lal took two and Rohit Sharma one.
In reply, RCC sailed on a power-packed 83 runs off 50 balls, studded with 11 boundaries by Bansi Lal, chased the total easily in 18.2 overs by losing 3 wickets, thus won the match by 7 wickets. Parveen Singh and Shahbaz also contributed 28 and 14 runs to the total respectively. For DTTCA Punjab, Sunny was the most successful bowler, claiming 2 wickets. Bansi Lal was declared man of the match for his superb batting display.
The match was officiated by Arjun Salaria and Deepak Thakur as umpires, while Minta was the scorer. Inder Gupta was commentator, while the tournament is being organized by Ijaz Sumbria.
