Bar Association seeks upgradation of Mendhar Court

POONCH, July 8: Bar Association Mendhar today demanded upgradation of Mendhar Court.
While speaking to the media-persons today, president Bar Association Mendhar, Advocate Sardar Javid Khan along with vice president Adv Ghulam Rasool and others said that the pendency of cases is high here at Mendhar Court and there is an urgent need to upgrade it to Additional Session Court level, keeping in view high pendency of civil and criminal cases.
While referring to the court building Khan said, this Court building was declared unsafe in 2009 earthquake but later on some renovation work was done by PW(R&B)Deptt but now the condition of the building is in very bad shape and needs attention from the higher authorities.
Ghulam Rasool said Additional Session Court is our long pending demand and Goverment must upgrade Mendhar Court in the larger interest of lawyers and people of Mendhar Sub-Division.
