JAMMU, Apr 14: The team of J&K High Court Bar Association Jammu today called on Jugal Kishore Sharma, Member of Parliament from Jammu Lok Sabha and presented a charter of demands.
The delegation comprising President Nirmal Kotwal, Vice President Baldev Singh, General Secretary Pardeep Majotra, Joint Secretary Anshu Mahajan and Treasurer Rahul Aggarwal apprised the MP about the issues and concerns of the Advocates of Jammu Province with special consideration to difficulties faced by the senior, female and young members of the Association.
The MP gave patient hearing to the team and assured all kind of assistance and cooperation. The demands included construction/extension of lawyers’ chambers, funds for infrastructural development at Court Complex, construction of a multi-storey building in order to have all the Tribunals, Commissions, Registration Work and CAT within court premises, dedicated creche facility at court complex, establishment of medical dispensary at District Court Complexes across the Jammu province.
