JAMMU, Aug 13: The work in the State High Court, Jammu Wing as well District Court complex remained affected as J&K High Court Bar Association suspended the work over the issue of AIIMS.
The Bar Association and the Coordination Committee continued with the chain hunger strike and various senior members of the bar including K S Puri, D S Chauhan, Rupinder Singh, Vipan Gandotra, Varinder Choudhary, Guru Partap Singh and Bharat Singh Parmar were among others, who sat on the chain hunger strike.
In order to decide the further course of action, the general house of the Bar Association is scheduled to meet on August 17.
