SAMBA, Mar 11: District police Samba succeeded in the arrest of main accused wanted in case FIR No. 29/2020, U/S 363/109/376-D IPC, 3/4 POCSO Act registered at PS Bari Brahmana.
Brief facts of the case are that on 12.02.2020, a written complaint was received at P/S Bari Brahmana by one Mohammad Haneef, R/o Badhori, Bari Brahmana stating therein that his daughter who is studying in 12th class has been kidnapped by Mohammd, Javed, S/o Babu Din R/o Baadi, Bari Brahmana and Mohammad Zahid, R/o Sarore while she was on the way to home after her practical examination.
Acting swiftly on the complaint, a case FIR No. 29/2020 U/S 363/109 IPC was registered at Police Station, Bari Brahmana and investigation started.
Police said special team was constituted to recover the kidnapped girl well as to arrest the accused persons. Based on the leads developed during the investigation, kidnapped girl was recovered and one of the main accused namely Mohd. Javed, S/o Babu Din R/o Baadi, Bari Brahmana was arrested from Sarore area. Further investigation is going on.
