NEW DELHI, Aug 3: Freight rates for nine tonne load to Baroda and Gwalior rose by Rs 1,000 each in the local truck transport market today following tight position of trucks amid busy cargo movements.
Transporters said less position of trucks in the markets amid better movements of cargo mainly pushed up select freights.
Delhi to Gwalior freight rates improved by Rs 1,000 to Rs 11,000, Baroda freights also gained by Rs 1,000 at Rs 26,000.
