JAMMU, Dec 6: Token hunger strike of Jammu and Kashmir High Court Bar Association Jammu entered second day today.
The female members of the Bar along with male members sat on hunger strike in the premises of District Court Complex. Those who participated in the hunger strike included Pardeep Majota, Joint Secretary, Mandeep Reen, Upasana Thakur, general secretary YLA, Salisha, Rashim, Surbh Kohli, Suraj Singh, Manjeet Singh Manhas and Vishal Salaria.
Other members of the Bar who were present on the occasion included Rohit Bhagat, vice-president, Abhishek Wazir, general secretary and Sushant Samnotra, treasurer.
The Bar has urged the Government to concede genuine demand of restoration of powers of registration of documents to the Judicial Magistrates.
