JAMMU, Dec 28: Sanjay Kumar Baru, senior BJP leader interacted with the local people to discuss their issues and the ongoing development works in the Hazuri Bagh area of Jammu West Assembly constituency.
Sanjay Baru, accompanied by other local leaders of BJP, conducted the tour of the lanes in which upgradation/ repair work has just concluded. He also visited the other areas needing attention.
Sanjay Baru, on the occasion, stated that the development works in the area were initiated and completed in stepwise manner, covering almost all the areas needing immediate attention. He said that the Modi Government has focused on the needs and the aspirations of the local people, while upgrading and modernizing the road, light, water and other infrastructure. He said that the BJP leaders following the directions of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi have taken this model of development to the grass root level.
Local people complimented the former councillor for his initiatives in development works, especially mentioning the newly constructed Nallah of Hazuri Bagh, which has provided relief to thousands of people by streamlining the drainage system in the entire area. They further requested the former councillor to take initiative in linking the drainage system of by-lanes with the newly constructed central drainage system to make the drainage process more efficient in the by-lanes too.
Discussing the required development, Sanjay Baru apprised the local people that already the estimates for linking the drainage system of by-lanes with the central drainage system have been submitted in the PWD and assured them that he will follow the matter for the urgent approval.
Sanjay Baru credited the unprecedented development in the entire nation including Jammu & Kashmir to the people centric policies of Bharatiya Janata Party. He said that BJP activists always concentrate on public welfare tasks as their prime duty.
