JAMMU, Oct 18: Senior BJP leader and JMC Councilor, Sanjay Kumar Baru along with BJP leader Jatin Sethi toured Ward number 41 and listened public grievances at Colonel Colony Bohri in the Ward.
During the tour Baru instructed AEE JMC (Works) Division-III, Yagya Datt Sharma and JE Shabab Malik to macadamize and repair lanes at Hazuribag, Colonel Colony and adjoining areas to improve the condition of lanes and roads in the Ward.
While interacting with locals, Baru asked the officials that lanes and roads have suffered extensive damage in rains.
He said that main motive of his visit was to check ongoing developmental works in the Ward and to interact with Ward residents.
The BJP leader claimed that every resident whom he met gave him a positive response concerning development in the area.
Officials on the occasion said that blacktopping work worth Rs. 36 lakh and drainage, repair and covering of drains work worth Rs. 10 lakh are already allotted for the Ward and soon these works will be started.
