JAMMU, Jan 3: BJP senior leader and JMC Councillor Sanjay Kumar Baru along with BJP District General Secretaries Karan Sharma and Rajesh Gupta today started construction work of deep drain from Devans Breweries Bohri Chowk via Hazuri Bagh upto Santra Morh Nallah in Ward-41.
While addressing, Sanjay Baru said that the development on the micro level has always been on the agenda of BJP.
He said that going by the mission of “Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas” as advocated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the BJP activists are dedicatedly taking the developmental tasks to the doorsteps of the common masses. He also discussed the issues concerning the present work with the local residents on the occasion.
He said that Former Minister Sat Sharma initiated the process for this project and took immediate steps to put the project in pipeline.
While giving information about the present work, Baru said that the construction work of deep drain has been started to meet the needs of common masses. He said that the total length of the project will be 1365 meters and the project will cover near about half of the Ward 41. The main areas to be covered are Bohri, Colonel Colony, Surya Vihar, Old and New Hazuri Bagh.
UEED AEE Rajesh Sharma, JEs Ved Basotra and Pankaj Mahajan, BJP Ward-41 President Ashok Wazir, Brijesh Gupta, Rakesh Sharma, Bubesh Thappa, Atul Chopra, Jugal Kishore, Jangjeet Singh and many others were present on the occasion.
