KATHUA, June 5: The residents of village Barwal, Uttri and its adjoining areas today staged protest demonstration against Railway Authorities and District Administration for delaying construction of road near Railway line crossing at Barwal.

The locals alleged that few months back, the Railway authority had started the construction of a subway nearly the Railway crossing line at Barwal but after lapse of many months, the authority concerned has utterly failed to complete the work.
“Due to under construction of the road, the locals are facing problems but the District administration as well as Railway authorities seems least bothered about it,” alleged locals.
They asked the Administration to immediately resume the work and complete it as soon as possible.
Others who were part of the protest including Kuldeep Kumar, Sunil Kumar, Rajesh Singh, Vijay Singh and Rakesh Kumar.
