Kargil, Aug 27: Father of prominent journalist Basharat Ladakhi and prominent Balti poet and writer Imdad Hussain Imdad left for heavenly abode after a prolonged illness at his residence in Balti Bazar Kargil today.
He was also known for his contribution towards development of Balti Language in Kargil Ladakh during his tenure at Cultural Academy Kargil.
Cheif Executive Councillor LAHDC Kargil Feroz Ahmad Khan has expressed grief over the demise of Imdad Hussain Imdad.
Expressing profound grief over the demise, he prayed to Almighty Allah to give the departed soul eternal peace.
He offered his condolence to the family particularly to Journalist Basharat Ladakhi and prayed to almighty Allah to grant of courage to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss.
Meanwhile Former Chairman JK LC and Senior BJP Leader Haji Anayat Ali, President ULB Kargil Zaheer Hussain Babar, Councillor Kargil Town, Haji Mohd Abass Adulpa, Journalist and Social Activist Sajjad Hussain Kargili and media fraternity of Kargil which includes Manzoor Hussain from DD News, Nasir Hussain Zaidi & Mustafa Solihi 4Tv, Muzzamil Hussain from Ladakh Times, Mujeeb Uz Zaman proprietor Kargil Cable Netwrok, Shabir Hussain Shoto Media, Anayat Ali and Mohammad Abdullah from AIR Kargil and Feroz Khan also offered their condolence to Basharat Ladakhi on the demise of his father and prominent Poet.
Abdul Hamid Ruby on behalf of Isna Ashriya Network Jamiyat Ullama Isna Ashriya Kargil offered their codolence to Basharat Ladakhi and His family on the sudden demise of His father Imdad Hussain Imdad.
