KATHUA, Aug 24: Basohli- Bani road remained blocked for over five hours due to flood at Sukka Nalla and land slide today.
Official sources said that there was heavy rain in Basohli-Bani area during morning hours today. Sukka Nallah near Bhoond was flooded while land slide also took place in the same area. After the water level receded and slides were cleared, the road was restored at around 3 pm. A large number of vehicles and passengers remained stranded on the road for hours.
