JAMMU, Dec 14: In a meeting here today Bhartiya Atal Sena Rashtarwadi (BASR) has decided to celebrate the birth anniversary of Ex-PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee on December 25.
The meeting was chaired by Suresh Gupta, BASR president who said that there will be weeklong programmes during the celebrations which include spending time with old age people at Old Age Home, distribution of fruits in Bal Ashram, planting trees, distribution of herbal tea, conducting acupressure camps at Old Age Home and distribution of masks etc.
BASR also appealed to the protesting farmers to settle the issues amicably through talks across the table with the government.
The office bearers of BASR present in the meeting were Tirth Singh Slathia, national vice president; Tejinder Vohra, senior vice president; Isher Dass, organisational general secretary; Dr Ankur Gupta, Dr Prof Sudhanshu Dewedi and Arun Kumar Gupta-all vice presidents; Vimal Dev Singh, general secretary; Mohan Lal Sharma, secretary; Rajinder Kumar, Sanjay Poddar, Prem Kumar Gutkar, Baldev Singh, Swarna Devi, Swami Raj, Krishan Lal, Ashikar Padha, Ajay Gupta, Munish Gupta and Rahul Sharma.
