Scores of women said that they have been appraising the concerned department regarding the problem they are facing; however, they said their grievances are not taken seriously.
“We are facing numerous difficulties due to the non-availability of the drinking water in the area, nobody is ready to listen to us,” they said.
They said that the department was supplying them with the drinking facilities with the help of tankers, but, they said that the tankers are not reaching the area.
They also said that the concerned official in the area does not take note of the problems that the residents are facing.
“The official takes care of the outside area only and has never visited us,” they said.
The residents demanded that their problems must be resolved without any further delay. They appealed the concerned higher-ups to intervene into the matter and do the needful in this regard.
