Jammu, Mar 10: Batwal Welfare Association in a fresh memorandum sent to the State Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, has demanded that Batwal community be given its due share in all spheres of life.
A general body meeting of the Jammu and Kashmir Batwal Welfare Association was held here today which was attended by a large number of community members who said that they have been neglected at all levels by the State Government.
They said that the community has not been given any representation in the Rajya Sabha, State legislature, State Development Board, District Development Boards and other important forums of the Government though other communities rotationally availed this opportunity.
