JAMMU, Feb 25: Bawa Ballo Dev Asthan Parbandhak Committee (BBDAPC) celebrated Bawa Ji Sathapana Day with chanting of vedic mantras at Bawa Ballo Ji Dev Asthan, Mathwar.
In the programme, people from all walks thronged the temple to pay obeisance at revered place of Bawa Ballo Dev Asthan.
Mahant Pt Deashbandu Shastri said that sthapana day of Bawa Ji started with chanting of vedic mantras by religious Sanskrit scholars followed by hawan, bhajan kirtan, purna ahoti and community fest.
On the occasion, Bawa Ballo Parbandhak Committee honoured Principal of Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan (Deemed University) Kot Bhalwal Prof Ramanuja Devanathan, Bawa Kailakh Dev Asthan Mahant Pt Rohit Shastri, Dr Chander Mouli Raina and Sunil Dutt Sharma.
Trust President also spoke on the occasion and highlighted the role of the trust.
On the occasion, the working members of the Committee were also present.
