BBDT demands proper road to Baba Bhair Devsthan

JAMMU, July 1: Baba Bhair Devsthan Trust (BBDT) has urged upon the Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti to bring Baba Bhair Devsthan on the tourism map of the Jammu by providing various facilities like proper road and all weather sheds for the pilgrims.
Addressing a meeting of the Trust at Devsthan, Trust general secretary, Romesh Sharma, said that the neither administration nor any public representative of previous regimes paid any heed to Baba Bhair Devsthan, one of the famous religious place of Jammu, where lakhs of pilgrims visit every day to pay obeisance.
Sharma demanded construction of 2 ½ kilometre road from Katal Batal to Devsthan, setting of a picnic cum culture spot in the vicinity and also construction of all weather sheds for the pilgrims visiting the Devsthan to seek the blessings of Kuldevta throughout the year.
Prominent among others who attended the meeting were Subhash Shastri, Sarpanch Balwant Singh, Girdhari Lal Sharma, Om Parkash and Subhash Sharma.
