JAMMU, Mar 21: A meeting of the Bari Brahmana Industries Association was held today under the chairmanship of Lalit Mahajan, President BBIA, with an agenda to request all the industrial units of Jammu & Kashmir to observe “Janta Curfew” on March 22.
It was unanimously decided in the meeting that that whole Industrial Sector of J&K was standing with Prime Minister of India to fight against spreading of Coronavirus in Jammu & Kashmir State and also in whole of the country. “All of us should honour the appeal of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi to observe “Janta Curfew” on 22-03-2020 and we are hopeful that our country will come out from the said present situation as early as possible with the support of Government of India working under the able leadership of Prime Minister,” observed the meet, which was attended by Tarun Singla, Sr Vice President; Ajay Langer, Vice President; Viraaj Malhotra, General Secretary; Rajesh Jain, Secretary; Vivek Singhal, Treasurer and other members of the Association.
The members present in the meeting also drew the attention of Prime Minister towards the Industrial sector of J&K, which is suffering very badly and request that, keeping in mind the present situation, a Relief Package may be granted to the Sector.
BBIA demanded extension of dates for the deposit of GST/Provident Fund/Power Bills, waiving off the Bank Interest on the Working Capital Limits/Term Loans upto September 2020, deferment of Term Loan Installments for one year, 25 percent enhancement in the present working capital limits without any additional collateral Security, reducing the promoter’s margin of working capital from 25 percent to 10 percent, waiving off the Power Bills for month of March/April/May & June 2020, extension of Dates for the deposit of GST/Income Tax Returns, allocation of funds for the rehabilitation of MSME Sector, treating all the accounts of MSME Sector as Standard account and No Account giving relaxation in respect of NPA norms by extending relaxations till 31-03-2021 and providing interest free Soft Loans to MSME Units.
