SAMBA, Dec 17: A delegation of Bari Brahmana Industries Association (BBIA)  under the presidentship of  Lalit Mahajan along with Tarun Singla senior vice president, Viraaj Malhotra general secretary and Rishi Kant Gupta treasurer, BBIA met with Chief Minister Omar Abdullah here to highlight the urgent issues related to working industrial units in SIDCO Industrial Complex, Bari Brahmana and other issues of existing Industrial units of J&K.
Mahajan and Singla invited the attention of Chief Minister towards upgradation of SIDCO infrastructure at Bari Brahmana, allotment of land in Ballol Industrial Estate for the establishment of additional 50 bedded capacity of ESI Hospital of Bari Brahmana, removal of encroachment from the Ballol Industrial land, theft cases in the Industrial Complex due to illegal drug menace, shortage of doctors in ESIC Dispensary Bari Brahmana, illegal collection of Adda lorry fees by Municipal Committee Bari Brahmana Contractor from Industrial goods vehicles entering Bari Brahmana Industrial Complex, minimum demand charges levied by JPDCL for the extension the period of power availability certificate of Industrial Units, removal of Negative List for edible oil and roasted ground nuts being manufactured by existing industrial units, grant of fiscal incentives to existing units at par with new units and other related issues of Industrial Sector.
Omar Abdullah listened to the current scenario of the existing working industrial units and assured that his Govt will provide all sought of hand holding support for the revival of the existing working Industrial units of the JKUT.
