JAMMU, Jan 11: A delegation of Bari Brahmana Industries Association (BBIA) led by Lalit Mahajan, president, BBIA met with Rajinder Singh Tara, Transport Commissioner, J&K here today.
BBIA chief was accompanied by Tarun Singla- senior vice president, Viraaj Malhotra- general secretary and Rajesh Jain- secretary BBIA.
While welcoming R S Tara on his appointment as Transport Commissioner, J&K, Mahajan highlighted various issues related to Industrial Sector which includes subsidization of token, permit and fitness fees of vehicles owned by Industrial units, one time Amnesty to regularize the time barred cases of fitness/token etc of commercial vehicles, validity of fitness certificates of Commercial vehicles for two years and other related issues.
Transport Commissioner assured the delegation that all the pending issues related to Industrial Sector will be resolved on priority basis.
