BHADERWAH, May 5: Trying to build the consensus among the common people of different ideologies, pressure groups and political parties to come up with a long lasting solution of Kashmir, Bangladesh Bharat Pakistan Peace Forum (BBPPF) and Jammu and Kashmir Forum for Peace and Territorial Integrity of the State (JKFPTIS) urged upon Union and State Governments to shun the path of suppression and immediately start an unconditional dialogue with all the stake holders of J&K.
BBPPF and JKFPTIS members demanded that the present Coalition Government should be dismissed and within six months fresh election should be held under Governor’s rule.
Intellectuals and leaders were speaking in a one day seminar organized by BBPPF and JKFPTIS at Dak Banglow, here.
“The only way out of this problem is to immediately initiate a dialogue with all the stake holders including Hurriyat and Pakistan with no pre-conditions and if any body thinks that Kashmir problem can be suppressed, he is not only immature but also unaware of the history”, said two times MLA of MP and Coordinator Indian Chapter of BBPPF Dr Sunilam.
“By entering into coalition with BJP, PDP has ditched Kashmiris and played with their emotions, to bring back peace in the State. J&K Assembly should be immediately dissolved and under Governor’s rule fresh election should be held after six months which can turn out to be the biggest confidence building measure in the present scenario”, said veteran political leader and patron JKFPTIS, Sheikh Adul Rehman.
Prominent among those who spoke during the seminar include President JKFPTIS, ID Khajuria, Sarita Chakraborty, Sheikh Mohammad Shafi, Riyaz Najar and Fateh Mohammad Shah.
