BD holds protest, demands arrest of Asiya Andrabi

JAMMU, Dec 31: Bajrang Dal (BD) activists staged a protest demonstration in front of Press Club here today against the separatist leader Asiya Andrabi and torched her effigy.
The protestors, while raising slogans against the separatist leader and her alleged links with ISIS and Lashkar-e- Toiba said that the dreaded militant organization is trying to create 26/11 Mumbai type attacks in different parts of country on the occasion of December 31 and New year.
Addressing the protestors BD leader Rakesh Sharma said that Asiya Andrabi who has links with Islamic State and the security agencies have also made a revelation of this which is a cause of concern for all nationalist elements. He said the hoisting of IS flags in Kashmir and some parts of Jammu region and shouting slogans in favour of Islamic State is an eye opener in this regard. This also reveals that the separatists and anti national elements are again gaining ground in Kashmir, he added.
Asking BD activists and nationalist forces to unite and unmask the game plan of Islamic State which has its network in UP, Mumbai, Tamil Nadu and other states of the country, before they may do any major damage.
He said arrest of sleeper cells of ISI in Indian security forces is also a grave threat to national unity and security.
Sharma said joining of ISIS by the youths of a particular community and opening of communication links by them through social networking is also a challenging task and a question mark on the security agencies in the country.
He demanded that Asiya Andrabi be arrested and other separatist organizations be banned in the State.
Kartik Soodan, Madhav Ved, Pawan Mangal, Aastik and other BD activists attended the protest.
