BD to organise blood donation camps during VHP Golden Jubilee celebration

JAMMU, Oct 15: In connection with year long Golden Jubilee celebrations of Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) being celebrated in 2014-15, Bajrang Dal (BD) is organizing blood donations camps all over the country from November 2 this year.
This was stated by BD convener Naveen Sudan while talking to reporters here today. He said BD in collaboration with Bhartiya Jan Seva Sansthan will organize blood donation camps at district level in the State of J&K also.
Mr Sudan said that 50 years ago in the year 1964 on the auspicious occasion of Janam Ashtami VHP was founded in presence of Sadhus and Sants at Sandeepni Ashram in Maharashtra. On this occasion the then chief of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), Madav Rao Sadashiv Rao Golvalkar who was popularly known as Guru Ji was also present.
Presently, VHP is working for the welfare of Hindus in 40 countries across the globe, he added.
Sudan said BD will donate one lakh units of blood across the country while in J&K 3000 units will be donated. He said blood will be donated from a top level worker to grass route level worker of the organization.
He also made an appeal to the youth of the State to donate blood with BD activists. BD is working on the basis of service, security and Sanaskar, he added.
Bharatiya Jan Sewa Sannsthan working president Anil Padha , co-convener J&K, BD Rakesh Sharma, Kartik Sudan and Madhav Ved were present in the press conference.
