JAMMU, May 9: To protest against the Congress party warning to ban Bajrang Dal in the states ruled by it hundreds of Bajrang Dal activists held Hanuman Chalisa recitation in front of Hanuman Temple Janipur, Chowk this evening.
They protested against what they called anti Hindu campaign launched by Congress and some other opposition parties in the country.
Addressing the BD activists, VHP general secretary, Abhisheikh Gupta said that in its poll manifesto of Karnataka and later in Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Himachal Pradesh, Maharashtra and other States the announcement of Congress to ban BD and terming it a party like PIF which is a Jehadi and anti national outfit is totally unfortunate.
He said the Hindu community of this country will teach Congress and its supporting parties a lesson in a democratic way.
The convener of BD, Kartik Soodan said that these leaders suffer with myopia as they don’t see that BD is fighting for protection of cow, girl child, donating blood to save precious lives, besides it is working for preservation of temples and shrines and against the conversions all over the country.
He said all over country people protested today and held recitation of Hanuman Chalisa in support of BD activists.
VHP vice president, Shakti Dutt Sharma, Upar Sharama Rajan, Dr Soni Sambyal, Rajesh Bhasin, Binnu Raj Kumar, Abhisheikh Sidhant and other VHP and BD leaders were present in Hanuman Chalisa recitation.
