DODA, Oct 2: Alleging that the Government is befooling the people, Block Development Council (BDC) Chairperson Block Changa Mohammad Abbas Rather along with Sarpanchs and Panches has decided to boycott the third chapter of Back of Village programme to be held in their area in coming days.
BDC Chairperson along with Sarpanch and Panchs assembled at Sub District Headquarters Gandoh and held protest. They raised slogans against the Government for its failure to address the issues being faced by the people.
While speaking, BDC Chairperson said that Government is befooling the people on the name of Back to Village programme as the issues, which were highlighted in the previsious B2V programmes area not redressed till date.
Rather informed that it makes no sense of attending B2V-III as the issues of his Panchayats which were highlighted in previous programme of B2V could not be resolved and are still pending.
“We have decided not to take part in the third phase of this programme because this program is not only waste of time but also waste of public money,” he said.
