UDHAMPUR, Mar 23: A Block Development Officer and wife of a Jammu University officer was injured in a road mishap, here today.
Reports said that BDO Sukriti Sharma, wife of JU Assistant Registrar Khem Paul Singh, was hit by a speeding motorbike while crossing road near her office at Udhampur. She sustained critical injuries and was rushed to hospital where doctors shifted her to GMC Hospital Jammu.
Meanwhile, in a similar accident, a pedestrian was hit by a minibus at Slathia Chowk Udhampur. The injured was identified as Darshna Devi (55), wife of Bakil Singh of Kawa.
