BDO, others issued show cause notice for absence from duty

REASI, Feb 26: Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD) Reasi has sought explanation of BDO Katra and three others, who were found absent from duty without any prior permission from the competent authority.
Issuing show cause notice to Ridhima Sharma (BDO), Savita Sharma (SO), Des Raj (Inspector) and Shashi Devi (Jr Asst), the erring officers and officials have been directed to explain their position with documentary proof in their defence by tomorrow positively failing which one day salary will be deducted from their salary of February 2021 and strict disciplinary action shall be initiated as warranted under J&K Civil Services Rules.
In the show cause notice, the ACD has also pointed out that Block Katra has the lowest performance in various parameters under MGREGA like PDs generation, timely payment, work completion, Aadhar Seeding and estimation.
“Further, while scrutinizing MPRs, it has been observed that other schemes like B2V-1, B2V-3 and 14th FC are suffering badly due to your lackadaisical approach in implementation of flagship programmes of GoI and UT of J&K,” reads the show cause notice, issued by ACD Reasi, Dr Anirudh Rai.
