‘Beauty Parlour Management’ programme concluded

REASI, Aug 10: One month long training programme on ‘Beauty Parlour Management’ organised by SBI Rural Self Employment Training Institute (SBI RSETI), Reasi, concluded here today.
Thirty-one ladies from different areas of district Reasi derived the benefit of the programme by learning the skills of beauty parlour management and are set to start their own ventures, which are bound to eventually engage them gainfully and financially.
Chief Judicial Magistrate, Reasi, Kalpana Revo and Munsiff Reasi, Sudesh Sharma were the chief guests.
Distributing certificates amongst the passed out trainees, Kalpana Revo laid stress on the economic independence of women and created awareness about the rights of women.
Listing the advantages of making adjustments, she advised them to strike a balance between their domestic life and work place functioning.
Sudesh Sharma took up a volley of questions from young ladies over legal matters and convincingly answered them to their satisfaction.
Director of the institute, SK Kandroo, appreciated the enthusiasm of the trainees and expressed hope that the majority of the passed out trainees would start their own units shortly. He assured them of his full support in terms of sponsorship of loan application, sanction of loans and other required support.
Circle Audit officer, SBI Chandigarh, Gurudev Singh and Lead District Manager, SBI, RL Lochan, who were also present on the occasion, informed that the SBI RSETI is starting a three week programme on ‘Mobile Repair’ from August 13 followed by programmes on ‘Food Processing’, ‘Electric Motor rewinding’, ‘Rain Coat or Choli making’ and many more, adding the enrollment in these programmes have been initiated and interesting youths can enroll themselves immediately.
