Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will attend the G20 summit in India as an invited guest. 9 non-member countries including Bangladesh have been invited as observers in this conference.
Sheikh Hasina will address the conference. According to diplomatic sources in Dhaka, he will have a meeting with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi at that time. Although this meeting is on the side line, both countries are giving importance to the meeting.
However, the Awami League party which is going to India at the invitation of BJP in the middle of July, apart from Obaidul Quader, Agriculture Minister Abdur Razzak, Information Minister Dr. Hasan Mahmud and other senior leaders are staying. We consider this visit very important politically. His visit has regional and international importance.”
