JAMMU, Jan 25: An unidentified beggar was found dead near Sain Temple in front of Monica Super Market in Gandhi Nagar area, here today.
As per a police sources, the beggar in his 40s had been begging outside the Temple for last many years and his dead body was found lying near the Temple, this morning. He said the beggar probably due to chilling cold.
“The body has been shifted to mortuary room of Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for postmortem/identification while inquest proceedings under 174 CrPC have been initiated in this connection at Police Station Gandhi Nagar,” sources added.
