RAJOURI, Aug 21: The Begonara Alal road in Thannamandi got closed due to landslide and several vehicles along with passengers got stuck.
On getting information, Tehsildar Thannamandi Thannamandi Sahil Ali Shah along with OQ Girdawar Muzaffar Lone reached the sport.
Tehsildar personally supervised the rescue operation and all the vehicles stuck in the landslides were evacuated safely.
Due to efforts of Tehsildar Thannamandi, all the passengers and vehicles stuck in the landslide were evacuated safely. He also examined the road, which got damaged due to the landslide.
Tehsildar Thannamandi directed to the concerned JE to construct a protection wall in order to avoid any further damage to the road.
He also asked people to avoid travelling on this road as the place is vulnerable to landslide.
