UDHAMPUR, Jan 16: Team Beopar Mandal staged a protest demonstration against PDD for unscheduled curtailment and blocked the road for two hours outside PDD office, here today.
President Jitendar Vermani said that due to unscheduled curtailment of electricity is creating problems for the business community as most of the business is dependent on electricity.
He warned the concerned department to resolve the issue as soon as possible; otherwise they would hold a big protest along with shopkeepers and locals in the coming days. The Executive Engineer assured the protestors to resolve their issue in consultation with higher authority of the PDD and take appropriate action to stop electricity curtailment in the city.
All the office bearers of the Beopar Mandal and others were present during the protest.
