The slogan Beti Bachao Beti Padhao has great significance in the time when the graph of girl child is immensely lowering in the country. Discrimination towards the fair sex is becomes visible when ratio between male and female children is worked out. Undeniably, crime graph, the womanhood faces, is a matter of grave concern, yet amid numerous odds, safety and security of the fair sex is the primary duty both of the Govt and the society as well. If a sister is needed for ‘Raksha Bandhan’ a wife, as a life companion, what justifies an otherwise attitude towards them. Stringent laws to curb indifferent attitude behaviour towards the section of the society is highly unwanted. Absence of fear of indignation and humiliation in their mind can only enable them to develop wholesomely and enjoy a respectable life. A great power for keeping the wheel of this world moving, safety and society of the womanhood is of vital importance.
