SRINAGAR, Nov 29: Senior National Conference (NC) leader and party’s candidate from Gulmarg- 14 Assembly Segment, Dr Mustafa Kamaal today advised the voters to beware of the parties promoted by New Delhi with the nefarious design of targeting our special status and relegating the Muslim majority into the back ground.
Addressing election rallies at Gogaldar, Ringawali, Badarkoot, Chandil, Darakasi, Zandpal, Ganiwani, Wanigam, Darahama, Kulhama and Tumberhama, Kamaal said the ensuing election comes at a critical time in the history of J&K State when NC is pitted against parties promoted by New Delhi with the nefarious design of targeting our special status. PDP and DPN are spearheading this dirty game, he added.
He reminded the people that Mufti Mohd Sayed was made the Union Home Minister in 1989 to implement the plan to catch, kill and destroy which has left a long trail of death and destruction throughout the State particularly the Muslim majority areas leaving tens of thousands of people dead.
“The communal and tuskman Jag Mohan was used as the handle to carry out this carnage. Respectable people like Mirwaiz, Movlvi Mohd Farooq, Mirwaiz Qazi Nissar, VC Kashmir University, Hushirul Haq, Dr Abdul Ahad Gark, Dr Farooq Ashai, HMT MD, Khera, Wali Mohd Itoo, Speaker of Legislative Assembly, were also not spared”, he added.
He said that the dreaded AFSPA was extended to J&K by Mufti Sayed as Home Minister and he is the biggest hurdle in its revocation.
He cautioned the people not to vote for Gulam Hussan Mir who is responsible for the killing of six youth at Tangmarg in 2011 when many structures including the Tehsil building were burnt down. Dr Kamaal described Hussan Mir as a big swindler of public money and can go to any extent to cheat and loot public money and property for which the law will catch up with him.
