BFDC discusses arrangements for coming Navratras

JAMMU, Feb 12: Bahu Fort Development Committee (BFDC) J&K held a meeting of volunteers to discuss the arrangements for the upcoming holy Navratras which are going to be held in the next month.
The meeting was held under the chairmanship Baldev Raj Nagotra, president Kr. Rajeev Charak, vice chairman, Ishant Gupta, vice president Sourabh Sethi, Rahul Gupta, legal advisor, Varun Gupta, office in charge Rahul Kumar, Naresh Kumar and Sukhwinder Kumar.
While speaking, Rajeev Charak said that the practice of volunteer service during Navratas at Bawe Wali Mata Shrine was paused for the last few years but now the Committee will be going to restore the same in upcoming Navratras for which the arrangements were discussed today. He appealed the Government to kindly conduct their official meeting prior one month from the commencement of holy Navratras so that that proper arrangements can be made for the ease of Yatris and grievances will also be addressed in due course of time and in this context he invited the representatives from all the concerned departments to remain present in the next meeting called by the Committee on March, 5.
Baldev Raj Nagota said that the Committee will intensify our campaign for the constitution of Shrine Board after Navratras. The Committee appealed Lieutenant Governor to intervene personally and fast track the process of the long pending demand for the constitution of Shrine Board for Bawe Wali Mata Temple, Bau Fort.
Ishant Gupta said that BFDC is a social organization and is always ready for self-service. He appealed to all the volunteers to be in discipline while performing their duties during Navratas and also be polite to all the yatris so that they will be eased in performing darshan at the holy shrine.
Sourabh Sethi extended vote of thanks and appealed to the volunteers to be in proper uniform so that they can be identified among the massive yatris.
