RAJOURI, Mar 29: A placement drive was conducted at Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University (BGSBU) last week by two leading companies of the financial sector and green technology.
A statement said that during the drive conducted by Training and Placement Cell of the Varsity, 11 students got selected, including 7 from the Department of Management Studies and the rest from the School of Engineering and Technology.
It said the selected MBA students were offered Rs 3.5 lakh annual package and those pursuing B Tech bagged an average annual package of Rs 6 lakh.
Vice-Chancellor of the University, Prof Akbar Masood congratulated the selected candidates on the occasion.
He said BGSBU has a dedicated placement cell which provides the best career opportunities to the students to help them secure best positions in private sector.
Dean of students, Dr AA Shah also extended his best wishes to the selected candidates.
