RAJOURI, Jan 16: Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University has initiated admission process for research Programmes for (M Phil and Ph D) for the year 2015.
As per the handout issued by the University, January 30 is the last date for receipt of Applications for M Phil & Ph D programmes. The University has issued notification for M Phil in Botany, Zoology, Biotechnology, Management Studies, Computer Sciences, Arabic, Math, & Applied Mathematics and Ph D in Botany, Zoology, Arabic, Management Studies, Math and Applied Mathematics.
Handout said that the admission will be made strictly in accordance with the UGC regulations governing minimum standard for research degrees. Applicants for admission to all courses are required to pass entrance test and face interview to display their knowledge of the subject and aptitude for research.
For admission to Ph D programmes in School of Biosciences and Biotechnology, only students holding fellowships will be considered.
As per Notifications, No BGSBU/Acad/14/896, issued by the University, the Admission Forms and the Prospectus are available for sale for Rs 1200 in the office of Deputy Registrar Academic Affairs of the University. It added that for the convenience of aspiring students they can also be downloaded from university website www.bgsbuniversity.org and submitted along with Bank Draft drawn in favour of Registrar, for Rs 1200.
