BGSBU launches admission prospectus

RAJOURI, Feb 21: Vice Chancellor, Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University (BGSBU) Prof Javed Musarrat released the admission prospectus for the year 2018 in a function held at Vice Chancellor’s Secretariat.
The admission prospectus was released in presence of Prof Iqbal Parwez, Registrar BGSBU, Deans of different schools and officers of University administration. This brochure includes admission guidelines, courses list, fee structure, faculty profiles and other notifications as well as the admission form. The highlight of the new session is introduction of two new academic Courses–MSc Micro-Biology and BEd.
While releasing the Admission Prospectus, Vice Chancellor announced that several facilities are being made available to strengthen the on-going academic programmes and facilitate introduction of new teaching and research programmes. These include appointment of scholars of eminence from all over the country as Adjunct Professors in different schools and awarding Fellowships to MPhil, PhD and physically disadvantaged scholars. He said that the students will be given all the facilities and a better platform in every field.
On the occasion the Vice Chancellor said that their vision is to grow into a world class University by keeping pace with rapid developments taking place in the fields of Science, Technology and Humanities.
Prof Musarrat said that their mission is to maintain high standards in academics and research and equip the students with knowledge, skills and competency to enable them to contribute effectively in socio-economic development of the society.
The admission prospectus will be available from February 26 at University Campus Rajouri, Camp Office Jammu, Regional Office Srinagar and Regional Office Kishtwar.
