BGSBU to start course on Aircraft Maintenance Engg

RAJOURI, Mar 27: Star Aviation Academy (SAA) has offered providing aircrafts in Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University (BGSBU) in order to start a course on Air Craft Maintenance Engineering in collaboration with the BGSBU.
Addressing students of University Polytechnic in career counseling session on Aircraft Maintenance Engineering courses which was organized by University Polytechnic in collaboration with Placement Cell of the University, SS Kakkar, Assistant Director, Star Aviation Academy (Gurgaon) has offered to position 2 to 3 aircrafts in BGSB University Campus so that it can start a course on Air Craft Maintenance Engineering in collaboration with the University.
He said that by doing so BGSBU will be first University in the State to have such a course and University authority should consider the offer and enter in MoU with the Academy.
It is pertinent to mention here that on the directions of Vice Chancellor Prof IA Hamal to secure better placements and career opportunities for the students of BGSBU, the University Polytechnic College in coordination with the Placement Cell organized a career counselling session on Aircraft Maintenance Engineering courses.
SS Kakkar conducted the session. In the session, Kakkar delivered lecture and gave presentation to the students of University Polytechnic College.
In total 80 to 90 Diploma Engineering students participated in the event.
Before the commencement of the session attended by the members of the faculty of the Polytechnic College, Prof KK Dogra, Principal and Dr Sameer Raina, Training and Placement Officer, gave comprehensive talk with respect to the Aviation Engineering and its scope.
