JAMMU, Feb 3: A delegation of Bar Association Bhaderwah led by its president Advocate PK Gupta and accompanied by other members of the legal fraternity today met Divisional Commissioner Jammu and put forth several demands pertaining to Judicial District Bhaderwah and general population of Bhaderwah.
The delegation demanded setting up of the Court of Assistant Labour Commissioner at Bhaderwah on a regular basis for three days in a week to lessen the sufferings of the labour class of Bhaderwah. The demand of setting up of the camp of Consumer Court at Bhaderwah (as and when it is formulated) for two days in a week, was also raised.
All the delegation members laid stress on establishing the camp of DC Doda at Bhaderwah headquarter on a regular basis once in a week to redress the grievances of the people of Bhaderwah. They also stressed upon the Divisional Commissioner Jammu to streamline the work culture as well as the process of registration of documents in the office of Sub Registrar (ADC) Bhaderwah.
After a comprehensive and threadbare discussion, the Divisional Commissioner, Jammu agreed to fulfill the demands put forward by the deputation. Besides this, he also gave a patient hearing to other demands put forth by the deputation and assured to fulfill them at the earliest possible time.
