DODA, Mar 6: The general public from entire Bhaderwah constituency is facing lot of hardships as the newly constructed Sub District Hospital has no adequate staff.
The people from local town and those residing in the adjoining villages like  Cherrala, Bhalla, Malothi, Dharafra, Chinta, Sartingal, Chakrabati etc who come to the hospital had to wait in long queues at the OPDs as there  is severe shortage of doctors. The hapless people keep waiting for hours together. Not only this, the people from Kahra, Bhatiyas and Gandoh area also reach Bhaderwah hospital but they get disappointed. The hospital is being manned by hardly 25 % of the staff out of the total sanctioned strengthen.  There are a few specialist doctors and most of the posts are vacant in the hospital. Despite repeated request by the locals and so called efforts by the legislators, no improvement was witnessed.
A local BJP leader Koshal Dogra urged upon the Health and Medical Education Minister Taj Mohi-ud-Din to fill up vacant posts and send back the doctors who managed their postings to their places of preference using influence in last one year.
