JAMMU, Nov 9: A Prabhat Pheri was taken out on this morning by the devotees of Kaal Bhairav as part of the week-long Bhairav Jayanti celebrations.
A large number of Jang ham’s (deciple of Bhagwan Shiv & Parvati) and devotees took part in the Prabhat Pheri which passed through various parts of the old city besides famous temples including Mahalakshmi temple (Pacca Danga), HanumanTemple at Moti Bazar, Ranbireshwar Temple at Shalamar, Hanuman Temple, Ram Mandir (Purani Mandi), Radha Krishan Temple (Panjtirthi), Gurudwara (Panchayati) Upper Bazar and again culminated at Kaal Bhairav Temple.
Rumil further said that Bhairav Jayanti will be celebrated and grand Bhandara will organised at Temple premises with devotion and enthusiasm on November 15. A day earlier, on November 14, 2014, Pooja Archana will begin in the night long ceremony to invite Devtas in the Bhandara.
He asked the people to lit a diva outside their main entrances of houses and shops in the evening from November 13 to 15, 2014 to get rid of all types of problems. He also invited people from all walks of life to take part in the Bhandara.
