JAMMU, Mar 3: A one-day bhajan recitals and spiritual discourses program organized by Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan (DJJS) held here today.
While enlightening the gathering of devotees, Swami Suchetanand Ji, a disciple of Gurudev Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, said that there are two ways of worshiping God. The first includes the person’s external worship, visiting religious places, pilgrimage etc. And secondly, after Shiva’s eyes are opened, meditate on the Lord in the inner world.
Religious scriptures, religious places and external worship methods written by great men, all these also provide the message and inspiration of meeting the God through the darshan of light in the inner world. The flame lit at every religious place is a symbol of the formless eternal form of the Lord.
The saga of Jad Bharat described in the Puranas gives a similar message, in which Bharat, infatuated with the deer, leads his life towards degradation. And finally, in the next births, after attaining the knowledge of Brahma, he makes his life successful by living his life with a disinterested spirit.
Before the conclusion of the program, all the participants sat together and meditated for everyone’s welfare.
Beautiful soulful bhajans were sung by Swami Haridasanand, Mahatma Ramandeep, Mahatma Gurpreet.
At the conclusion of the program, everyone present took the Prasad of langar bhandara.
