JAMMU, Apr 2: Congress candidate and former Minister Raman Bhalla today filed nomination papers from Jammu-Reasi Lok Sabha seat. Eight other candidates also joined the fray for Jammu seat which will go to polls in second phase on April 26.
BJP candidate and two-time MP from Jammu seat Jugal Kishore Sharma has already filed his nomination papers and is seeking hat-trick this time.

Bhalla was also the Congress candidate in 2019.
Besides Bhalla, eight other candidates who jumped into the fray from Jammu seat, include Ankur Sharma from Ekam Sanatan Bharat Dal (URPP), Swami Divya Nand from J&K Nationalist People’s Front; Shikha Bandral from National Awami United Party; Independent candidates Raj Kumar, Shaber Ahmed, Dr Prince Raina, Karanjit and Bansi Lal.
With the filing of nomination papers by these nine candidates, the total number of candidates who have filed their candidature for Jammu seat has gone up to 13. The last day for filing of nomination papers is April 4.
