Bhalla asks party cadre to gear up for LS polls

JAMMU, Feb 9: Working president of JKPCC Raman Bhalla today asked the party cadre to gear up for the Lok Sabha elections in the Jammu and Kashmir.
A meeting of District Congress Committee Jammu Urban was held here today at PCC office Jammu to take stock of the preparations for the upcoming Parliamentary elections. It was organized by DCC president Manmohan Singh and attended by senior leaders of PCC, DCC, Block and Ward presidents, Frontal organizations heads, besides others.
The meeting took stock of the preparations for the Parliamentary elections and asked the party cadre to gear up for these elections and defeat the anti people, anti youth, anti students, anti farmers, BJP regime. The party sought inputs from block and ward presidents regarding the activities of the party.
Raman Bhalla lashed out at those parties who have been exploiting the sentiments of the people on various emotional issues for vote bank politics but utterly failed to deliver. He asked the party functionaries to make aware the people of the communal agenda of BJP and defeat the nefarious designs of communal, divisive and separatist forces. He said Modi Govt has snatched the rights on jobs and land from the people of J&K. The property tax, toll plazas, smart meters, unemployment has added more to the miseries of people.
Naresh Gupta criticized BJP leadership for ignoring and neglecting the mandate of Jammu who remained as mute spectators for the sake of power. He said people are deeply hurt over attitude of BJP leaders in the Govt but unfortunately the people are exploited in the name of religion and castes. Such a divisive politics is dangerous for the state and nation.
